On January 21, 2020, 4PDIH organised the first RMSG meeting in Slovenia in Kočevje. 4PDIH representatives conducted the event in two parts. First the audience was introduced to what we mean by the Digitization of Municipalities. The CARPE DIGEM project team presented the program, the project approach, the partners and the aims of the project. Next some examples of good practices from Europe and the possibilities of cooperation and co-financing of projects were discussed. In another very practical exercise participants identified key challenges in the local environment, mainly related to health services and waste management. Using the SEROI + tool, an output from a previous Interreg Europe project ERUDITE, a four-step solution, goal setting, stakeholder recognition, digital solution and service impact assessment were sought in a process that takes into account all three sustainable pillars. Stakeholders were informed about next steps in project implementation.
