During the period 17-19 May 2022, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa hosted a Study Visit, within the project "DIALOG", funded by the Interreg Europe Programme.

The event was attended by partners and stakeholders from the Autonomous Province of Trento and the Federation of the Trentino Cooperatives (Italy), ESF Flanders (Belgium), and the Junta de Comunidades of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain).

At the meeting there were 13 shs, 10 partner's representatives.

During the first day of the visit CCI Vratsa presented the approved practices for Bulgaria:

    • The initiatives "LET's GO", "SAVE the SAVIORS", aimed at supporting social enterprises and online platform DARPAZAR for products and services with a cause of social enterprises in Bulgaria implemented by the Bulgarian Centre for Non-Profit Law;

    • The Causes Foundation's B4B HUB initiative, which aims at supporting start-up entrepreneurs from the start of their business.

The partners and stakeholders showed strong interest and commitment.

 

There was also the dissemination of the pilot action social D.

Finally the partners approved the guidelines on the participatory methods. 

The second day continued with visits to social enterprises in the region:

    • PROTECTORS Association, Montana, supporting young people with intellectual disabilities in the process of building work habits and skills for independent living;

    • “Knigini” Association and Dobrini Workshop Social Enterprise in the village of Chelopek, who introduced the partners to their mission and inspiring initiatives.

The third day was dedicated to the role of social dialogue and cooperation between the regional authorities, the business and the non-governmental sector.

The delegation visited the Vratsa District Administration, and the District Governor, Mr. Stefan Krasimirov, presented the activities of the administration and the functions of the councils and commissions pertaining to it;

The partners were welcomed by Mr. Alexander Vladimirov, Deputy Mayor of Vratsa Municipality, who presented the social services and the role of the municipality in the social dialogue.

The project partners and stakeholders were warmly welcomed by the teams of the Community Support Centre in Vratsa and the Centre for family-type accommodation for children and youths with disabilities, where they became familiar with the provision of quality social services for children.
