The Municipality of Piraeus invited to its first Regional Stakeholder Group meeting, focussing on entrepreneurship and Blue Growth.
One of the main objectives of the first RSG meeting was to align the GRESS project with ongoing and future activities within the Municipality of Piraeus. A concrete example is the establishment of the BlueLab.
Participants from seven organisations then discussed the current entrepreneur climate in Piraeus and existing national strategies. The new development plan for the municipality has been introduced, which, for the first time, has incorporated activities directed to entrepreneurship and business development.
Furthermore, participants discussed the next project activities and how stakeholder can cooperate in a structured way. RSG members stressed the need for close collaboration to be able to develop effective policies in the future.
