Regional producers, entrepreneurs and business representatives from Croatia, Romania, Georgia, Bulgaria and Hungary met, on the 24th September, at the Royal Castle in Sandomierz. During the eighth edition of the international conference promoting the export potential of the Świętokrzyskie food and processing sector producers, further business contacts with foreign contractors were established.

This event was co-organised both by the Regional Economic Promotion Unit operating within the structures of the Investment and Development Department of the Marshal's Office of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and District Museum in the Royal Castle in Sandomierz. The conference was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Świętokrzyskie Voivode.

The conference was attended representatives of bilateral chambers of commerce, as well as regional entrepreneurs, Members of Parliament, regional and local government officials. During the conference the foreign guests shared their impressions after visiting local food-processing plants in our region. The participants also discussed the prospects for developing exports of food-processing products in priority foreign markets.

This event was also a great opportunity to promote Interreg Europe project called „Keep On” implemented in Świętokrzyskie region by Marshal Office of Świętokrzyskie Region. During the event, which gathered about 80 participants, there were provided information and promotion stalls where the idea of Keep On project was promoted among the participants. The co-organizer, District Museum in the Royal Castle in Sandomierz, is one of the regional stakeholders in the Keep On project.
