The ‘s-Hertogenbosch Zuiderwaterlinie Fort Crèvecoeur site has made the final European list of '7 Most Endangered sites'. This was announced today by heritage organization Europa Nostra. The list includes seven European places where heritage is seriously threatened. The fortress is owned by the Dutch Ministry of Defense and is in serious disrepair. The Municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch has been concerned for years about this national monument and has supported the campaign to preserve, restore and open the fort.
