Match-Up project left a lasting impact within the mobility framework in Funchal, in which the SUMP, the main policy instrument for mobility, was improved and updated with the embedment of not only good practices from other partners but also with new guidelines for multimodality, citizen and stakeholder engagement and mobility management tools. The project has surpassed expectations and Match-Up has inspired the Municipality to use these strategies for planning and communication in order to make Funchal a more accessible, livable and inclusive city, not only for inhabitants but also for tourists
