A social media campaign on sustainable mobility has been launched on May 30th in Thessaloniki by the Thessaloniki's Transport Authority (OSETh) in the frame of the PE4Trans Action Plan implementation. It will last two weeks. During this period, all posts will focus on sustainable transport modes (public transport, bicycle, walking) providing interesting facts about them, while being attractive with specifically designed social media banners.

A competition is also part of this campaign asking citizens to become "influencers" for the sake of their city. They are asked to further disseminate and spread the concept of sustainable mobility to improve the air and the quality of life as well as to win relevant prizes. This can be done by sharing the posts, tagging friends to see the messages/posts on sustainability, and following OSETh's official accounts to stay up-to-date about any mobility matters in the city.

Four winners will receive:

  • 2* 6-month cards for free public transport,
  • 2* 100-Euro gift vouchers for a bicycle shop.

PE4Trans partner AUTh scientifically supports the AP beneficiary OSETh.
