The dissemination event of RESIDUSTRY in Austria took place on the 20th of May during the Long Night of Research.

The Long Night of Research (original German name 'Lange Nacht der Forschung') is a significant event in the federal state of Vorarlberg, bringing together culture and science. Around 3000 interested parties from young to old visited the University of Applied Sciences. The aim is to introduce companies, private individuals, research groups, start-ups as well as future students and even kids and give them the opportunity to cast a glance at the world of research, science, and innovation. Through this event people had the possibility to network, get in contact with companies, research institutions and innovation hubs, and acquire new potential employees or students. Furthermore, the general public got sensitised for research projects like RESINDUSTRY.

At a tailored RESINDUSTRY booth several members of the project informed different stakeholders as well as private individuals about the project. From 17:00 to 23:00 people had the possibility to ask questions, listen to presentations, gain insights into the project and discuss with FHV's RESINDUSTRY project team members. The focus thereby laid on introducing people to the topic of renewable energy, catching their attention and raising awareness for this specific topic. Furthermore, people could share their own opinion and ideas, discuss them, and get involved in the form of direct feedback towards designing sustainable support infrastructures for renewable energy in the region. As a result, new ideas arose, people got engaged and common interest was acquired.

Besides the RESINDUSTRY booth, separate presentations in front of a large audience were held. Thus, the project RESINDUSTRY was outlined, the action plan presented, and several outcomes highlighted. After the presentation, there was room for questions, discussions, and detailed talks.

To summarise, the event reached both stakeholders as well as the general public, giving them not only an insight into the project RESINDUSTRY but also raising interest and awareness for the topic of renewable energy in industry.
