New perspectives for old cultural landscapes - Integration of historical cultural landscapes into current planning

2./3.9.2021

Historic cultural landscapes are an important part of our environment. They are part of our cultural heritage and a habitat for many endangered animals and plants. Using the example of the Landschaftsplan, we want to look into methods and practical approaches for the preservation of cultural and historical features, as a goal of land use planning.

The two-day workshop adresses in particular planners from nature conservation authorities, planning offices and planning offices who would like to learn more about the importance of historical cultural landscapes and the possibilities of integration into land use planning. Based on excursions and simulation games, instruments and methods for recording and evaluating historical cultural landscapes are also learned.
