At the second regional stakeholder group meeting in Trnava, Ing. Matus Skvarka briefly summarised the general data requirements of the Intensify project. It is crucial that we set a baseline from the project activities can implement measures to increase awareness and the see if the measures implemented actually improve awareness levels in the community. A simple, easy to answer questionnaire is required to establish the baseline of communities current levels of awareness of the need to reduce their carbon footprint. The discussion on the questionnaire lead to a broadening of the questions asked to include housing (retrofitting and behaviour), transport (Taxis, Public Transport and cycling), recycling, catering (restaurants, canteens, home cooking) and waste in general.

In addition to developing the baseline survey questionnaire the meeting wasl also updated on the proceedings of the first three thematic events that focused on Targetting, Motivating and the role of Financial instruments.

The meeting also discussed the upcoming Thematic Event on the use of Digital Social Platforms to be hosted by the Spanish Partner, CEA based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the capital of the Basque Country.
