AgroRES stakeholders and local members of the Sustainable Energy Communities (SEC) Programme visited IB Eggs near Virginia in Co. Cavan for a tour of their new 50kW Solar PV installation. IB Eggs are a free-range egg producer. The Solar PV system is grid connected but the energy is expected to be fully consumed on-site for lighting and ventilation in the egg sheds.
