For their second stakeholders’ meeting held on 31 July 2020, ALICE’s Polish partner, the Rzeszow Regional Development Agency (RARR), invited the representatives of regional film commissions from Poland to join a presentation online. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize film institutions with ALICE’s strategic priorities and present the first results of the project’s working groups.

After stressing the crucial importance of the different stakeholders’ participation in the project, RARR’s representative opened discussions on how to approach collaboration. The following topics were covered during the session:

● possibilities of engaging film commissions from other regions in project implementation;

● value of knowledge and experience sharing within the framework of ALICE for future development of the animation sector in Poland;

● possible areas for cooperation related to the project topics,

● inviting other key polish stakeholders to cooperate.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided to prepare a detailed schedule and scope of the project's activities at the country level, under which stakeholders will try to support the project's activities. It was also agreed that it is necessary to expand the group of cooperating institutions (stakeholders) and to include the Polish Animation Producers Association (SPPA) and National Polish Producers Aliance (KIPA) in the working group.
