On Thursdsay December 17 the 4th Normandy Sustainable Development annual day (4èmes Rencontres normandes du développement durable) will host the online workshop Promoting, legitimizing and supporting citizen initiatives in favour of the climate.
"The general awareness of the climate emergency is pushing more and more citizens to get involved, but they sometimes find themselves powerless to move from idea to action. On the basis of concrete testimonials from people, of their journey towards civic engagement, the aim will be to make known the existing means and tools necessary to support citizen initiatives in favour of the climate and to collectively build concrete proposals towards active citizenship, tomorrow, in Normandy."
Stéphane Lobbedey, head of Renewable Energy Department of the Normandy Region, partner in APPROVE, will talk about the project and will present in particular the analysis of the situation in Normandy, some good pratices and ways to engage citizens.
