Initiatives for the involvement of citizens in energy projects and the definition of improved criteria and a protocol about the environmental and participatory aspects for biogas projects are the key themes chosen by the Normandy Regional Council as focus of its Action plan for the improvement of regional policies promoting renewable energy.
The exchange of experiences carried out in APPROVE has also led to the elaboration of the Policy brief "Management of the transition to renewable energy in Normandy - Action needed to engage citizens and project proponents" (availale also in French).
