In 16th November 2020, BID-REX project contributed to the 2n workshop of Interreg Europe project RENATUR sharing good practices about nature conservation in peri-urban areas detected during BID-REX project, as biodiversity information is also necessary to manage and conserve natural heritage near urban areas.

In the online workshop Gerard Bota from CTFC, BID-REX’s lead partner, exchanged key messages and good practices identified during the project with RENATUR partners and stakeholders.  

The good practices identified thanks to BID-REX related to natural heritage integration in peri-urban planning are:

- SITxell of Deputy of Barcelona

- REM of Marche Region

- Norfolk GI of Norfolk Biodiversity Information System
