The 5th BIOREGIO interregional event focusing on „Biofuels and Agricultural Innovations" will be held in Nitra, Slovakia, on 14 and 15 May 2019 “. The event organiser is the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
The two-day event will include Good Practices presentations, group discussions on selected topics, workshops and site visits in Nitra Region.
The first day will include the presentation of Good Practices from each partner region, thematic small group discussions on the bio-based circular economy and a roundtable session about the current situation of Action Plans towards a bio-based circular economy. Video on how the BIOREGIO project inspired the policy instruments in the Nitra region will be presented as well.
On the second day, participants will have the opportunity to visit different sites in the Nitra Region, such as a biogas station at the University farm, wastewater treatment plant of the Nitra city and waste management facility focused on separate waste collection.
