The Nitra Self-Governing Region, in cooperation with the Nitra Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), organized a workshop titled "Cooperation and Support of Business Activities in the Nitra Self-Governing Region". Representatives of the BIOREGIO project decided to take this opportunity for organising the first regional dissemination event during the workshop. Altogether 50 stakeholders participated at the event.

At the beginning of the workshop, the president of the Nitra Region Milan Belica, analyzed the phenomena that affect the development of the region itself - the external environment, the globalization and the intentions of the individual governing structures. Next speaker was Eleonora Marišová, Vice-Rector of the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra, who presented the  BIOREGIO project and achieved results of the project and cooperation with main stakeholder – Nitra region and other stakeholders. The other speakers presented problems of dual education in Slovakia and successful company in this field -  ZKW Slovakia, projects for unemployed graduates supported by Office of labour, social affairs and family. 

The activities and services supporting the entrepreneurship in Nitra region were presented by Miroslav Masarik, Director of Nitra Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  This event was very useful for all participants, since it created a space for discussion for representatives of companies, universities, public institutions and agencies in the region.
