On December 7, the ICECHIM-Calarasi Subsidiary attended a matchmaking event organized in Bucharest by the National R&D Institute for Industrial Ecology -ECOIND: Realities and Perspectives on Transferring Research Results Obtained by the National R&D Institutes


During the Matchmaking event, BIOREGIO brochures and information about the project were distributed.

The participation at the event was very wide, including representatives of the authorities-Ministry of Research and Innovation (MCI), researchers from the R&D National Institutes and enterprises. The topic of the event included the presentation of services / technologies / products of the research institutes, technology transfer Good Practices and perspectives in capitalizing research results.

ICECHIM presented 2 projects related to the circular bioeconomy: BIOREGIO project, founded by INTERREG EUROPE, represents an opportunity to share experience and learn from the regional partners how to implement new technologies in their regions to support the circular economy of biological flows and SECVENT project, funded by the EC through the competitiveness operational programme, which aims to develop high added-value products from bioeconomy side-flows and involves research in close cooperation with enterprises that can use the results to improve their profitability and environmental performance.


Interesting discussions about biobased circular economy were conducted.

Around 45 participants from ECOIND showed their interest in the BIOREGIO project objectives and activities and initiated discussions on circular bioeconomy.
