Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency (ADR BI) organized the 1st BLUE GREEN CITY stakeholder meeting on the 29th of January 2020, in Bucharest.
The event brought together 35 major representatives from central and local public authorities, academia and research, civil society and the private sector, working with Blue&Green resources in Bucharest-Ilfov region.
Through this event, the organizers aimed to:
- present the Interreg Europe program, the Blue Green City project, the project activities and expected outputs to a larger audience
- introduce, involve and map the role of the stakeholders in the lifecycle of the BLUE GREEN CITY project
- analyze the state of art through discussing about relevant European and national regulations on biodiversity, urban biodiversity and protected natural areas
- present local initiatives concerning protected natural areas in Bucharest-Ilfov region
