The 6th Interregional Learning Event will take place in Balearic Islands from 18th to 19th of December 2018.

The Balearic Islands Tourist Board will host the project partners and their stakeholders in Palma de Mallorca.

The central theme of the event is: ‘The development of experiential tourism in relation to local value chains and excellence’.

The first day of the event (18th December), will start with study visits. First study visit will be at “PESCATURISMO”, where a meeting on experiential tourism linked to excursions with traditional fishermen on professional fishing boats will be held.

Following, partners will visit “SON MORAGUES” where a meeting on experiential luxury tourism linked to local gastronomy products (olive oil production and tasting) will be held.

ILE will continue with a workshop at Conselleria de Turisme (Palma de Mallorca) where partners will present Good Practices which will be evaluated after open discussion with local stakeholders.

The second day, partners will fly to Maó (Menorca). A project management meeting will take place on administrative, financial and communication issues. In the afternoon, a third and fourth study visit will take place. The project partners will visit Trepucó archaeological site and Albufera des Grau.
