Sibiu County Tourism Association organised the 2nd Local Stakeholders Group meeting on industrial heritage and tourism at ASTRA library, where Professor Volker Wollmann launched his sixth book about the preindustrial and industrial heritage of Romania.
It was the perfect occasion to debate on the preservation status of the industrial heritage in Sibiu region, with good practices (Sibiel, ASTRA museum, the Culture Factory Sibiu) and threats (the continuous loss of the industrial heritage both in the rural and the urban areas and the lack of public interest and policies).
The meeting was facilitated by partners - the ASTRA Museum and the ASTRA library.
