On 4th and 5th of July 2017, the Association of Municipalities and Towns of Slovenia hosted CircE project partners and stakeholders at a two-day seminar in Ljubljana. The seminar was held at the premises of the Ministry of Culture and various locations around Ljubljana city, where they got acquainted with the implementation of the circular economy in practice. 

The first seminar day (July 4th) was held in the form of a panel discussion on three topics, namely tourism, waste and mobility, while partners and stakeholders devoted the second day to the challenges of the circular economy in large cities. Afterwards followed a discussion in which the participants focused on identified opportunities, barriers and possible solutions. WORKSHOP 5.7.2017 - ASPECTS OF BIG CITIES, the content was prepared by the project partner from London, LWARB  

The workshop began with the introductory presentation of the LWARB programs - Resource London, Advance London and Circular London.  

The workshop focused on three themes, challenges and potential investment solutions to support circular economy, the food sector, in particular how to reduce waste food and the built environment.
