Meetings with the stakeholders of the textile and beverage sectors have been held on October 16 and 17, 2017, at the headquarters of the Secretary of Environment and Sustainability from the Government of Catalonia. The aim of the meetings was to discuss the opportunities and barriers of the sector to advance towards to a circular economy.

The debate of the group sessions followed the ReSOLVE methodology of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the circular economy world leader think tank. ReSOLVE classifies circular economy opportunities in 6 different types: regenerate, share, optimize, loop, virtualize and exchange. In this way, attendees discussed different aspects to be circularized within the sector in Catalonia, evaluating their opportunities and the different types of barriers that would encounter. In these two sessions, fifteen stakeholders attended, which included CEOs, business associations managers and chiefs of sustainable and environmental RDI centers.
