CircPro partners and stakeholders will gather in Sofia for the 4th interregional partner meeting to discuss about the management of waste of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and the role of circular procurement procedures in it. The agenda will include i.a. sharing information about:
- The role that the purchasing requirements can have in helping to reduce the environmental impacts of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) before it ends up waste (WEEE).
- The potential of the requirements set by the purchasers to innovate more material circulation (e.g. by buying services instead of equipment, requiring the suppliers to follow strict producer responsibility rules and / or voluntary measures / standards /labels / etc. going beyond the standard practices etc.).
A study visit to a local waste - specialized in WEEE - management company Nadin, will also be organized.
