This event is the final conference of the CircPro project, where project partners from nine EU regions and Norway will present results achieved during the project. The latest developments in green and circular public procurement in the EU will also be highlighted.
If public sector organizations begin to prefer environmentally friendly and circular products and services, it would be possible to significantly influence the market and move faster towards climate neutrality and more sustainable use of resources. Public procurement is a powerful tool for using public money in an efficient strategic way and for accelerating the movement towards a more sustainable future.
This event will consider how to incorporate circular economy principles and criteria on the strategic level to promote circular procurement as an established practice of procurement procedures in municipalities and towns.
The conference “Enhancing circular procurement practices on the local level” will take place on the 25th of January at 10 am (EET) in Kalev Spa Hotel (Aia 18, Tallinn, Estonia) and online (online link will be sent to the registered participant before the event).
