CISMOB pilot project on using Information and Communication Technologies for real-time information on public transport requires a deep work for conceiving the prototype. Representatives of CISMOB and Transdev Public Transport Operator had a meeting last November 6th, 2018. This meeting was very important to get access to the buses in which the monitoring devices will be implemented. Specific details regarding the installation of trackers, such as location and power sources, were discussed with Transdev technicians. There was established a commitment in order to work together in the installation of the equipment. Next step is to define the system to extract meaningful information so that travelers get information about the current bus location, next bus, and expected arrival and departure times. Then, a first test should be conducted before its deployment.
