We are happy to announce that a staff exchange will be held in Valladolid and Salamanca (Spain) on 28-29th June 2022.
The staff exchange will include the visit of 6 urban farming initiatives in total. There are three visits of three different types of orchards. From these orchards two are public initiatives for seniors and for general population and the third one is a private initiative which offers different services.
The partners of CityZen will also have the opportunity to visit an association called “Vallaecolid” which is in charge of organising an eco-market once per month and is equipped with a shared food lab and a centre for gathering vegetables from producers. They will also visit the headquarters of Natural Heritage Foundation of Castilla y León and finally the educational orchard in the primary School “Cristobal Colón”.
