The Municipality of Beja and CIMBAL are glad to host the staff exchange and to showcase local good practices and urban farming initiatives in Beja and Mertola on 23-25 Jun 2022. The incoming visit is made by Bulgarian and Spanish partners.
Partners will visit and get a hands-on experience on the Forest gardens within school projects in Mertola, the Mertola Food Network and the urban gardens in Beja - both available as good practices for CityZen and will take part in a stakeholder meeting to network and exchange with local urban farming actors.
On 25 Jun all partners will visit the Santo Amaro's market in Beja: a good practice that illustrates how urban farmers can sell their products without bureaucratic hurdles.
