The Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA), together with other agencies and organizations of seven European countries, participates in the international ClusterFY project aimed at promoting the internationalization of industrial clusters. The eighth and the last project meeting will take place under the auspices of SIEA in Košice on 14 - 16 October, 2019.
During the three-day event, the project partners will have the opportunity to exchange experiences within the international workshop as well as to get acquainted with successful innovative companies, which are key players in the development of the digital economy in the Slovak Republic. Finally, project outputs for individual partner countries and forms of their dissemination will be presented.
Location of this event was not randomly selected. Košice is the seat of universities, institutes of Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV) and innovative companies with their own research and development base. Thanks to the systematic support for the development of creative industries and information and communication technologies, the city has also been included in the international “UNESCO Creative Cities Networks”.
The professional guarantors of the event are institutes of the SAV associated in the Research Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies - PROMATECH, "high-tech" cluster organizations that hold international certificates of excellence (Cluster of Automation Technology and Robotics, Košice IT Valley, Slovak Plastic Cluster) and experts of the European Secretariat.
As part of excursions in the Eastern Slovakia region, will open the their doors flagships company in ICT area, automation, robotics, digitization and development of advanced materials such as T-Systems Slovakia, Ltd., Fpt Slovakia Ltd., Astound Commerce Ltd., SPINEA, s.r.o. and KM-SYSTEM s.r.o.
