The 6th ClusterFY Interregional Workshop, Study visit and Steering Committee meeting is going to be held in THESSALONIKI, Central Macedonia region (EL) on the 27-29th of March 2019.
On 27th of March ClusterFY partners and stakeholders will have the opportunity to visit clusters and innovative business networks and distinguished research facilities operating as Digital Innovation Hubs located in the wider area of Thessaloniki Innovation Zone.
Partners and ClusterFY stakeholders will also explore a collective scheme seeking to function as an interdisciplinary platform for leveraging the “creative capital” and the “creative economy” in the city of Thessaloniki as well as in the general Greek area.
In the heart of the 3days event the ClusterFY workshop on the 28th of March, there will be organized an interactive approach and will focus on regional cluster policies related to regional cluster and business networks development as well as their expansion enhancing the internationalization and involvement into innovative values chains – what does would mean for the regional development.
Distinguished speakers will present their experience in the regional development related to clusters, business networks, industrial modernization related to KETs, as well as internationalization aspects.
Speakers will provide deeper views and perspectives of what is happening with clusters, the local dimensions that affect their development and how regional policy measures could support them in a better and more efficient way. Part of the workshop will be dedicated in reviewing Joint policy recommendations from other relevant EU projects and initiatives (i.e. clusterix 2.0).
The final day of the event, the 29th of March, there will be organized the form of interactive working session during which partners will analyze the possibilities of transferability of good practices identified in order to improve the policy instruments addressed in the ClusterFY partnership.
