COLOR CIRCLE is an Interreg Europe project on circular economy and innovative cooperations between local authorities and researchers.

The Interregional Learning Event will gather project partners and local stakeholders from 5 different countries (the Netherlands, Spain, Romania, Czech Republic and France). It will be a chance to discover more on the regional policy of circular economy in Friesland. Agricultural collectives, researchers and regional representatives will join the discussion. A session will be dedicated to the quadruple helix approach.

Leeuwarden is the capital of the North Frisian province which is located north of Amsterdam, near Germany and on the North Sea coast. It got the title of European Capital of Culture in 2018.

Marked by the presence of polders, Friesland is a region much appreciated for its lakes, as well as for its successive islands in the Wadden Sea, listed as World Heritage by Unesco.
