During the 1st regional stakeholders meeting in Zakopane the issue of the protection ot the local cultural heritage was discussed.

The stakeholders of the CRinMA project met on 27 June 2017 in the beautiful Oksza Villa  (the branch of the Tatra Museum), were the gallery of art inspired by the Tatra Highlander culture is presented.

During a 3 hour meeting, the best practices of the protection of the local cultural heritage were presented and discussed. The head of Tatra Museum - Anna Wende-Surmiak - presented the history of the cooperation with The National Mountain Museum in Turin (Piedmont, Italy).

The participants presented different points of view on the issue of protection of the local heritage. What kind of heritage is the most important? Is the landscape a part of the cultural heritage and how it should be protected? Is the creative transformation of local patterns a chance or a threat for the mountain tradition?

Some of questions inspired participants for further discussions, which will be continued during the implementation of the CRinMA project.
