CRinMA Partners visited picturesque Savoy Region in France to discover cultural heritage of the Alpine area.
The visit started on the 22nd of May in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. CRinMA partners visited the Alpine Museum and discussed the cultural  heritage related to the mountaineering tradition of the place. The cooperation between the Alpine Museum in Chamonix and the Mountain Museum in Turin supported by the ALCOTRA programme was presented as the example of cross border cooperation in the area of cultural heritage.
In Servoz, small mountain village next to Chamonix, partners visited Lieutenant’s House – the permanent exhibition located in a building from XV century.
On the second day of the visit the city of Chambery and its relation with cross-border area, the Italian city of Turin and the mountain surrounding was presented.
The next step – the Royal Abbey of Hautecombe – was another chance to discuss the relation of cultural heritage (architecture) to the natural heritage (lake and mountains) and the ways of protection that is the best for the both. The cross-border cooperation of the Abbey with the institution from Piedmont Region was stressed.
Finally, on the 24th of May, partners participated in landscape animation (workshop) and experienced a wonderful view from the top of the Mont Saleve.
