The third meeting will be hosted by the Digital Wallonia Agency, one of the regional partners of the Interreg Europe CYBER project. During the meeting, the participants will engage in the discussions on the different approaches to cybersecurity at the different levels of governance, ranging from the pan-European to the regional. The meeting will be also attended by the European Commission Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT) representatives, who will share their insights on the current cybersecurity landscape and the vision for the future.
The participants will also have a chance to learn about the cybersecurity situation in Belgium and its regional cybersecurity ecosystem, as well as to share their best regional practices and strategies aiming to strengthen regional cybersecurity ecosystems across the EU.
Finally, Interreg Europe CYBER project partners will pay a visit to Thalès Cyber Lab, a Belgium-based centre, which focuses on training the businesses and the public bodies to prepare for the cyberattacks by simulating real-life situations.
Previous Interreg Europe Cyber meetings took place in Rennes (France) and Tallinn (Estonia), and were hosted by the Bretagne Development Innovation (BDI) and the Estonian Information System Authority (RIA), respectively.
