The 1st Regional Cyber Security Forum aims to facilitate the development of the regional cybersecurity ecosystem, to encourage the regional entrepreneurship and the attraction of talents to the cybersecurity field. Finally, it also aims to promote the activities of the Regional Cybersecurity Pole.
The event is organised under the framework of the Interreg Europe CYBER Project, aiming to boost the competitiveness of the European cyber security SMEs by creating synergies among European cyber security valleys, and the Training and Support Program for R&D Business Centr@Tec.
The Forum is part of the CYBER Night event series, initiated by the Interreg Europe CYBER Project to facilitate the interactions within the regional cybersecurity communities, as well as to promote CYBER project and its goals.
In addition to thematic workshops and panel discussions, the cyber exercise ‘Capture The Flag’ (CTF) will take place on the day of the event. This cyber exercise will provide a forum for the local cybersecurity talents to demonstrate their skills and to be recognised by the cybersecurity stakeholders.
The 1st Regional Cyber Security Forum is organised by the Interreg Europe CYBER project partner Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE), as well as CIDAUT Foundation, in collaboration with the General Foundation and the BISITE research group of the University of Salamanca, the VIEWNEXT Innovation Center of Villamayor (Salamanca), the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE).
