Start the countdown, the Walloon Cyber Night, organized by Digital Wallonia is on the launchpad! Starting Friday 10/09/2021, the event will be held in an amazing location: the Euro Space Center of Redu, next to the site of the European Space Agency in Belgium.
The Cyber Night will span from 9AM to 9PM, with the morning dedicated to several presentations given by stakeholders, partners, and actors in cyber such as Proximus, BDI from Brittany or the CCB (Centre for Cyber security Belgium).
There will be also multiple networking opportunities.
The main event of the afternoon will be the Capture The Flag or CTF, a cybersecurity-oriented game in which teams of four compete in finding as many vulnerabilities as possible in deliberately vulnerable software and systems. This competition will have challenges even for newcomers and several coaches, coming from Walloon companies working in cyber, will be there to ensure a smooth afternoon for everyone.

This event is part of the CYBER project which oversees the organisation of Cyber Nights in all partners’ regions. Inspired by the Breton BreizhCTF, they bring together a technical challenge and a dissemination event. The aim is to involve all the stakeholders active in the cybersecurity ecosystems and to raise awareness on the topic.
