In the framework of the CYBER project, Tuscany Region is working on creating a stronger cybersecurity ecosystem. This is achieved through constant cooperation among different regional government departments and with territorial stakeholders. The virtual project meeting organised by the Tuscan team, on 21st and 23rd of October 2020 was a great opportunity to interact with the main stakeholders working in the research and education fields, including the Cybersecurity Competency Centre (C3T).
At the same time, the Tuscany Region is well aware of the importance of an active involvement of companies. To this end, they participated in the online event “Connected and secure – the network we want” (27/10/2020 on Facebook/Youtube) targeting young entrepreneurs. During the event, the CYBER project was presented to a new audience with a twofold objective. On the one hand, the goal was to raise awareness on the topic. On the other hand, the focus was on involving more companies in the mapping exercise that aims at assessing the cyber security readiness of regional companies. This development represents a key step towards the evolution of the Tuscan ecosystem.
