Kosice IT Valley organised a regional Cyber Night from 26th November until 6th December.
Hackathon - Code as hell had three main challenges: Smart City, e-Health, and Smart University with a joined cybersecurity challenge.
We understand the need for innovation and digitisation, however, we need to highlight cybersecurity. The focus of the solution security - developing, adding, and testing security features within each solution to prevent security vulnerabilities - was one of the main aspects of the hackathon and one of the main criteria during the evaluation process.
The event focused on university students as they are considered the future workforce that can change and create a cybersecurity narrative. The best way to show the importance of cybersecurity is through innovative ideas that participants came up with. Our stakeholders and the university supported the hackathon.
