On the 15th of October, AGENEX participated on the session “Energy Transition in Extremadura: the key role of solar self-consumption”.
During this event, national & regional keynote speakers analysed the legal framework encouraging the boost to self-consumption, presented the opportunities of these sources and discussed the prospects of the renewable energies in a post-covid scenario.
In addition, public regional grants were analysed as well, focusing on the lines related to self-consumption in the construction and industrial sectors. Subsequently, a panel of experts initiated a debate on the challenges that the society of Extremadura is facing, which was moderated by the Energy Cluster of Extremadura.
This session was part of ENERSELVES Project final conference, where the key achievements of the latter were presented by ENERSELVES project partners’ representatives, from various EU regions.
