The meeting with Members of the City of Leipzig and one member of e-contactas one expert for e-mobility was held at 7. June 2017 in the conference room at Aufbauwerk Region Leipzig GmbH.
Stakeholder meeting starts with a first introduction in DEMO-EC including the objectives, partners and activities. Also the addressed policy instruments have been shortly introduced. The City of Leipzig addresses the policy instrument car reduced down-town which focusesof the sustainable transport development in the inner city. Aufbauwerk address the Operational programme of the Freestate Saxony 2013-2020 with focus of sustainable city development and environmental-friendly transport. The idea is to transfer the resultsof City of Leipzig to other cities/regions in Saxony. One focus topic is also the promotion and fosteringthe use of e-mobility. Also results of Kick.-off meetings as findings, lessons learned and identified synergies are presented to stakeholder.
After introduction the participant jointly develop arguments for preparation of city council decision necessary for partnership agreement and support of DEMO-EC. The benefits of joint mobility management in combining of different environmental-friendly transportmodes have been worked and will be introduced in presentation to convince city council. In the last part stakeholder discuss the next steps as the regional analysis and Good practice analysis.The discussion will be further extendingwith additional stakeholders in the next stakeholder meeting. Therefore it is planned to establish a defined stakeholder council for establish a permanent stakeholder group.
