The participants of the stakeholder group meeting were the project team, political representatives – members of the municipal government, representatives of related city departments (transportation, chief architect) and all the important stakeholders related to the public transport and cycling as a transport mode in the city of Liberec.
The DEMO-EC project has been introduced to the stakeholder group through the presentation prepared by Lucie Noswitz (Project Manager of DEMO-EC Project).
Meeting topics were:
- a brief introduction to the project content and project schedule - what is DEMO-EC project, what is SUMP and explanation how we link both projects together and obtain the best result,
- how to link the DEMO-EC project with other strategic projects prepared by the municipality, transport company and other stakeholders,
- presentation of a suggestions for a communication strategy related to the project – how (tools) to attract the specific target groups, making notes for suggestions of an improvement,
- Kick of meeting in Leipzig (2. 3. 2017 – 3. 3. 2017) – report, main findings and useful learnings, defining of adaptable activities for Liberec,
- a part of a sesstion was dedicated to the problem definition (collecting of all possible current and future problems related to the public transportation),
- discussion, doubts and questions.
