The participants of the 2nd stakeholder group meeting in Czech Republic were the project team, political representatives – members of the municipal government, representatives of related city departments (transportation, chief architect) and all the important stakeholders related to public transport in the city of Liberec and the Liberec Region.
They briefly presented the current project activities (incl. upcoming meeting in Zaragoza). The main topic of the meeting was the presentation of strategic and specific objectives for public transport in Liberec, followed by discussion on tasks, measurements and projects, commenting on the proposals. The plan for 2018 - 2023 aims at the increase of public transport (modal split) as a quick, comfort and safe way of transport in the city and its suburbs. The proposal was reviewed, specific measures were proposed and discussed.
