DesAlps is a European project, funded by Interreg Alpine Space, working on supporting the use of Design Thinking (DT) for innovation by testing design methods for SMEs to encourage innovation and supporting its integration into support policies in the Alpine Space ecosystems. Between November 2016 and March 2020, ten project partners from Italy, Austria, France, Germany and Slovenia, led by t2i technology transfer and innovation centre , are working together to developed shared capacity and resources for effective use of design thinking in SMEs.
One of the main outputs of the projects is creation of the Design Thinking Lab - a knowledge and competence platform which improves the framework condition for innovation in the Alpine Space enhancing intermediaries’ and policy makers’ knowledge and competence on Design Thinking to assist entrepreneurs with dedicated strategy and structure: a Virtual Training Centre. The platform provides training contents and activities on regular basis to support both the operators and SMEs for DT-oriented activities at local and Alpine level.
DesAlps has also created a usefull toolkit - Design Thinking Teaser to help to get familiar with the approach and some of the DT tools. We look forward to exchange of experience between our projects.
