The first study visit of the Destination SMEs project is approaching. The seven partners will meet in Gozo (Malta) from 4 to 6 October 2016 to learn about policies and best practices implemented on that territory. During the study visit they will also discuss about how these practices could eventually be transferred in other territories with similar needs but different characteristics.
The first two days will be the occasion for partners to get in touch with the reality of Gozo, visiting historic and cultural sites (ERDF-funded restoration and regeneration projects, such as the Cittadella fortifications or the Ggantija Prehistoric temples), artisan start-ups, micro-enterprises of the creativity sector, initiatives and activities in the cultural and outdoor fields.
The steering committee meeting and the joint dissemination workshop will take place on the third day; local stakeholders and project partners will be involved in a debate concerning the learnings of the first two days and the transferability of Gozo policies and good practices.
