The DEVISE project has participated on the 12th of April in Laval Virtual, the international exhibition on virtual reality, augmented reality and immersive technologies, with the 'Remote support to SMEs' online session.
During the three professional days, a large conference programme has been offered to the physical and virtual visitors. Four tracks have guided attendees on the trends of the XR industry, to better understand the industrial stakes of immersive technologies, and giving the oppotunity to meet the biggest leaders of the sector. Thanks to our project partners from Laval Mayenne Technopole, DEVISE had the opportunity to participate and share some good practices featured within the partnership.
The session commenced with the DEVISE project overview. Daniela Copaci, DEVISE Project Coordinator and ERNACT Programme Manager (Ireland), presented the project approach, outputs and work carried out to-date. Afterwards, project partner Gorka Díez, from Fomento San Sebastián (Spain), presented one of the latest good practices identified: 'Donostia / San Sebastián Market Plaza (DSSMP)'. Karla Hategan from Development Agency of West Region (Romania) took the floor to talk about the 'West Region Virtual Culture'. The workshop continued with the presentation of Elaine Whoriskey, Donegal County Council (Ireland), about the 'Donegal Remote Working Strategy'. Last but not least, the session concluded with the intervention of Valérie Moreau from Laval Mayenne Technopole (France), who focused on the initiatives to 'Remote Support to Companies' during the COVID-19.
