ERNACT held their first meeting with the DEVISE regional stakeholders, the Donegal Digital Action Plan working group, last week in Donegal (Ireland) at the new state-of-the-art Pramerica building in Letterkenny. This group consists of representatives from relevant organisations like Donegal County Council, Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Údarás na Gaeltachta, Pramerica, IDA Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and Fáilte Ireland among others. During this first meeting, the DEVISE project was presented to them. Project Leader, Jose Manuel San Emeterio introduced the project to the group, providing them with an overview and describing the main aim, objectives and other EU regions involved.
Further, he explained that the Donegal Digital Action Plan will be one of ten improved policy instruments supporting digital SMEs to provide solutions to other SMEs from strategic sectors in the region. In doing so, one regional digital transformation enabling environment will be established to better cooperate and resulting in an improved coordination and increased collaboration between the digital and these key sectors in the region.
He finally stressed on the important role that they, as stakeholders, will play in the project contributing and participating in activities such as the regional supply/demand analysis, the exchange of knowledge process and the definition and implementation of the DEVISE action plan to name some.
