On 19th December 2019, the axis 2 (employment policies) and axis 3 (professional qualification and human resources) of the council for the economic recovery pact of Castilla la Mancha 2015-2020 was held in Toledo. It is one of the most important social dialogue councils in the region with representatives of business and professional associations, unions, federation of municipalities and provinces of Castilla La Mancha, representatives of different sectors of the regional administration (social welfare, education and culture, youth and sports, economy and employment), European business and innovation centers and members of the third sector (representing people with disabilities, people at risk of poverty and social exclusion, etc ...).
At this meeting, all board members were informed of the degree of implementation of regional employment and training policies and of the measures taken throughout the 2015-2020 legislature. It was also explained that this council will continue with a new pact for the growth and economic convergence of Castilla la Mancha 2020-2023. All members of the council were invited to propose, in the framework of the new pact, public policy measures to be developed in our region through a computer platform that has been created for this purpose.
Finally, the DIALOG project was presented to all council members. It was explained that some measures of this council has been chosen as a case study for this project. In fact the council represents one of the most important social dialogue councils in the region, both for the high and heterogeneous number of its representatives and for its active participation in the proposal of public policies. So the case of studies identify have all the characteristic of a good practices in term of social dialogue and to improve the effectiveness of innovative policies for regional competitiveness.
The local stakeholders showed interest in the project and decided to participate actively in it.
