To encourage mutual learning and potential transfer of good practices among DigiBEST partnership the first Peer Review Event takes place in Spain from 27th to 29th April, where external experts from Latvia and Italy working on the digital transformation of enterprises will provide for the Hosting partner (Granada region) their evaluation of policy instruments in this particular field - digital transformation promotion for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The first two days devoted to individual online interviews or discussions between the Peer Review experts from Latvia and Italy and representatives of the Hosting partner (Granada region of Spain), involving different stakeholders’ groups representing local organizations responsible for digitalization and support of SMEs to provide an overview of the digitalization policy of the region, digitalization level of business entities and support measures.
On the third day an online workshop session will be held with a larger group of stakeholders of the Hosting partner region - Policy makers, industry experts, NGOs and SMEs and other involved persons, where the Peer Review team presents its initial findings, conclusions and draft recommendations for potential policy improvements in Granada region. Peer Review is a part of the interregional learning process within the scope of DigiBEST project activities. The main objective of the DigiBEST Peer Review activity is to have an external analysis performed by qualified experts from other partner countries about current situation and performance on digital transformation of SMEs and microenterprises in the Hosting partner region, including analysis of good practices. The Peer Review is based on the desk research, including review of literature, policy documents and legislation, as well as online meetings, interviews or presentations and networking. The Peer Review external experts from two partner countries should provide consolidated recommendations for promoting the digital transformation of SMEs and microenterprises by improving Hosting partner’s policy instruments selected for the Peer Review.
