[NEWS] Brescia: E-bike sharing in Brescia

The Municipality of Brescia and the Group Brescia Mobilità continue to invest in making the city increasingly eco-friendly.

After the recent activation of 3 new bike-sharing stations, for a total of 92 points in the city, the city's bike sharing system is expanding further with the arrival of new E-Bikes.

Indeed, within the bike fleet, 13 electric bikes are being added to 5 existing stations.

The model proposed in Brescia is an excellent solution for getting around the city: aluminium frame, 3-speed gearbox, 250 watt central motor, 504 Wh battery integrated in the frame, and a range of up to 60 km with regular use.

Along with the electric bikes, a new bike rental app has also been introduced. The app allows users to rent the bikes in just a few steps.

In terms of cost, the new electric bikes respect the affordability that has always characterised the Group's sharing services: 0.03€/min for the first hour of use, 0.05€/min for the second hour and 0.10€/min from the third hour of use, with a maximum of 8 hours of use in a day.
