On the 10th December 2019 the Marshal's Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, in the frame of the ECO-CICLE project implementation (Interreg Europe programme), organized and moderated a consultation session on the designation of the course of the EuroVelo 2 - Capitals Route and EuroVelo 9 - Baltic-Adriatic international bicycle routes in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region.

The meeting was attended by 38 participants, including representatives of communes, poviats and cities from the area of potential routes. During the meeting key recommendations for the development of the routes were agreed on: the development of EuroVelo routes should be carried out in such a way as to maximise the effect of synergy in the creation of regional cycling routes (with the agreement on the route between the following regions: Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Wielkopolskie) as well as the connection of EuroVelo 2 with the Piast Route and the connection of EuroVelo 9 with the Notec Valley route and the Vistula Cycling Route. The latter was selected by the ECO-CICLE project partners as a good practices presented by the Polish partner.
